Temporary site connectivity
Connectivity and Wi-Fi for site offices, cabins and welfare from first mobilisation, before any permanent service exists.
SECTOR 05
Temporary and permanent connectivity, site communications, security and the technology fit-out that has to land inside somebody else's programme.
OVERVIEW
Technology on a construction project is almost never the critical path, and it is almost always squeezed by whatever is. The programme slips, the floor is not ready, first fix has not happened, and the install window you were promised in January is now a weekend in June.
That is a planning problem more than a technical one. We work to the main contractor's programme rather than our own, keep the kit staged and ready rather than delivered early into a building with nowhere to store it, and mobilise when the floor is genuinely ready.
Connectivity and Wi-Fi for site offices, cabins and welfare from first mobilisation, before any permanent service exists.
Structured cabling, containment, comms rooms and switching as part of the fit-out, tested and certified.
Site surveillance and access technology, installed for the phase it is needed in and moved as the site changes.
Voice, radio and connectivity for teams working across a building that has no signal in half of it.
Equipment held in our warehouse and released to the programme, so nothing valuable sits in a wet building for a month.
Test results, certification, as-built records and asset data handed to whoever operates the building afterwards.
