SECTOR 06

Public money.
Public scrutiny.

Secure, accessible technology for councils and public bodies, across civic buildings, libraries, depots and customer-facing services.

  • Civic buildings
  • Libraries
  • Public access
  • Secure networks

OVERVIEW

One estate,
a dozen kinds of building.

A council estate is not one building type. It is a civic centre, a library, a leisure centre, a depot, a set of listed buildings that cannot be drilled, and a customer-facing office where residents are queuing.

The technology has to be secure enough for the data behind it and accessible enough for whoever walks in, and both of those are auditable. We work to that, and to a procurement process that expects the cost, the plan and the evidence in writing before anything is ordered.

What the
estate needs.

Secure networks

Segregated networks for staff, public and operational systems, designed and evidenced for the assurance requirements behind them.

Public access technology

Library terminals, self-service points and customer-facing kiosks, built to be used by anybody and abused by some.

Meeting and chamber AV

Council chamber, committee room and hybrid meeting technology, including the webcast that has to work in public.

Heritage and constrained buildings

Cabling and mounting solutions for buildings where the usual answer is not permitted.

Refresh and disposal

End-of-life replacement with secure data destruction and certified disposal, documented for audit.

Procurement-ready documentation

Specifications, costs and plans in the form a committee can approve and an auditor can follow.

IN PRACTICE

What we bring
to a public estate.

Evidence, mostly.

Discuss your requirements
  • Documented designs and priced options
  • Security segregation you can evidence
  • Accessibility considered at design, not retrofit
  • Works planned around public opening hours
  • Certified disposal with an audit trail
  • Support cover across a mixed building estate
