SECTOR 03

Forty thousand people.
One kick-off.

High-density connectivity, ticketing and access, concession point of sale and AV for venues where the whole year points at one evening.

  • High-density Wi-Fi
  • Ticketing & access
  • Concessions POS
  • Event-day support

OVERVIEW

There is no
second attempt.

A venue's technology is idle for most of its life and then asked to do everything at once: tens of thousands of devices arriving in twenty minutes, every one of them trying to scan a ticket, buy a drink or upload a video.

Designing for that peak is a different exercise from designing for an office, and testing it is harder still, because the only honest test is a full house. So the work leans on survey, on capacity headroom, on redundancy for the paths that cannot fail, and on having people in the building on the day.

What a venue
needs to hold.

High-density Wi-Fi

Bowl and concourse coverage designed for simultaneous devices rather than square metres, and validated under load wherever we can get it.

Ticketing and access control

Turnstile, scanner and access technology installed and maintained around the fixture list.

Concession point of sale

Fast, cashless selling on kiosks and handhelds, sized for a fifteen-minute interval.

Audio visual and signage

Screens, wayfinding, hospitality suites and the broadcast-adjacent infrastructure around them.

Edge and comms rooms

The rooms everything depends on - power, cooling, containment and resilience - built and maintained properly.

Event-day cover

Engineers on site before doors open and until the building is empty, because a ticket raised at kick-off is already too late.

IN PRACTICE

How we work
around a fixture list.

Everything happens in the gaps.

Discuss your requirements
  • Works planned between events, not during them
  • Capacity designed for peak, not average
  • Redundant paths for ticketing and payments
  • On-site presence for event days
  • Concourse hardware built to be swapped fast
  • Handover before the next event, every time
